The following tips are designed to help you clean-up unnecessary content in your social media accounts as well as protect your privacy: -Make a list of all your social media accounts. -Review the content of those accounts by scrolling through the feed or by downloading an archive of your data. -Look at everything: photos, posts, comments, emojis, likes, etc. -Edit your posts, comments and delete unflattering content - Think like a decision-maker (is this a person we want to hire, to include in our university, to associate with, etc.) -Using a search engine, like Google or Yahoo, to check your digital reputation. Enter your own name in the search engine (then check images, videos, etc.). Ask Google or Yahoo to delete inappropriate content. -Check your settings and set everything to private. -Close any old accounts.
